Vincent Perna focuses his practice around improving the lives of his clients by concentrating on the management of the assets he has been entrusted with, but just as importantly on the big things going on in their personal lives, and letting that aspect of the relationship drive the asset management. Vincent also spends his time building-out a network of other professionals by understanding how to better assist them in their own practices to allow them to find a better work-life balance.
Prior to joining Belpointe in April 2016, Vincent operated his own independent Registered Investment Advisory practice in New York City, which he founded in 2010. Vincent began his career on the institutional cash and derivatives desk at Louis Capital, a boutique firm in New York City, followed by an associate position as an analyst and head of derivatives at Guiry Capital Management.
Originally from New Rochelle, New York, Vincent has a distinguished background as a professional tennis player, playing both the world junior (ITF) tennis circuit, as well as the Challenger and Satellite tours of the professional tennis circuit (ATP). He has played in the qualifying events of all four major events (Australian, French, Wimbledon, and US Open), and now focuses his athletic abilities on surfing, running, and attempting golf.
Vincent graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science from Duke University and received a Master’s in Finance from Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business in New York, New York. He and his wife Betsy reside in New York City with their two-year old daughter Taylor, a Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue dog, Pretzel, and their newborn daughter Abigail.
